More new royals!

Posted at 01:28 PM on November 15, 2009

Well couldn't resist, this weekend managed to obtain 100% hets for genetic stripe. the male is an 09 ( only hatched last month)(from right royal morphs!) and the female is a late 08 ( from scott w).

So in 2 years hopefully i will breeding my own genetic stripes as well. Oh i have plans for these, too many to list but all in good time and exciting.

Oh and update on the poss breeding this year will be going ahead:

Albino x spider = spider het albinos (hopefully!)

het green ghost x het green ghost = hopefully some green ghosts.

all up to breeding weight  and will be put together around xmas day! hopefully for some locking for xmas!

New Viv Is here

Posted at 05:53 AM on November 02, 2009

Well the Viv exotic EX55 is here, was easy to assemble and just letting the sealant cure for a few days and then it becomes home to my Bredli Pythons. I have massive logs to go in and a big hide for them. so all good and plenty of climbing for them.

New Storage is here!

Posted at 06:20 PM on October 20, 2009

My vision V70 rack has arrived, built, heating set and operational. This will be used to house just royals and now has my new babies in here and they have settled in great.

Also my hatchling rack has arrived. 18 rubs x 4ltr. I have nearly finished adding heat cable to the back wall and be finished off tomorrow. I will test run this rack to set the right temps and then waiti for next years offspring.

On back order in my EX55 vivexotic viv for a steal of just £109! the largest vivexotic viv they do. this will probably house my Bredli pythons! And aim to move these in around the end of the year,

My other viv will house my jungle carpets of which they are not big enough to move into yet. Maybe in the summer of 2010 for the male but the female will be quite a lot longer as a slow feeder.

Ok so i'm all set now and ready for 2010. I will post the pairings once i have seen locking. Mating, I aim to pair at end of Dec if all going well and the desired royals reached a suitable weight.

New Storage racks

Posted at 03:53 PM on October 15, 2009

i now am awaiting delivery of a new Vision V70 rack, this is my 2nd and a hatchling rack which has been modified to suit my needs by Really Useful Products containing 18x 4ltr rubs. (V70 hopefully friday and hatchling rack on monday!)

Also on back order is a 55"x23"x27" viv which should be with me within the next few weeks.

These will allow me to house all babies from the next few years and and house adults royals. The viv will be home to either my Bredli or Jungle Carpets depending on who grows the largest.

Houten Revised

Posted at 03:00 PM on September 29, 2009

well the intention was to go the hoggies route but have flipped on that idea and now have setup deals for royals.

have already reserved a pair of het pieds! (so this will be one project)

the rest of the shopping list is:

pair of pastels

female mojave

male pinstripe

male fire

and maybe a butter or pair of het clowns!

and as u can see i will hopefully be going into the morphs quite heavily wit some interesting project exploring the green ghost gene ( as its under used in comparison to the orange ghost!). i will also be tryin to produce the complete range of albinos, (albino spiders, albino pins, albino pieds, albino mojave all and more for the future

i will also hopefully be teaming up on projects with a fellow friend who has an awesome collection of royals and working on projects between us.
